Workshops & Talks

Sometimes, all it takes to overcome a roadblock is a well structured workshop.

At least that’s what 10+ years experience in social innovation have taught me - and probably why I love workshops so much! Over the years, I have covered everything from Design Thinking to Impact Measurement or Creating a Code of Conduct and enacting it.

Each workshop is tailored to your audience’s needs. I will personally seat with you ahead of the session to make sure we cover all your key requirements.

How are Lume’s workshops different?

My number one goal is to make sure that the content is clear and applicable while not compromising on the quality and depth of the training participants get.

More importantly, I know what it really takes to build impact-driven ventures. For me this included:

  • Pivoting during a pandemic

  • Building a MVP to validate assumptions and iterating until we got it right

  • Raising pre-seed

  • Being lean

  • Managing global teams and partnering with key stakeholders across continents

  • Being the product head for an award-winning tech product

  • Working with clients of all sizes (from one person businesses to multinationals) from 7 different sectors and learning how to cater to the specific needs of each one of them

  • Trying to stay sane in the midst of it all

All of these learnings and more have helped me build the training sessions I would have liked to have when I was in the thick of it: the kind that turn best practices and effective frameworks into digestible nuggets you can start using as soon as you leave the room.

All sessions:

  • Can be delivered in person or online

  • Are customisable to the specific needs and experience of participants

  • Include time for Q&A

  • Can make room for personalised coaching if the group size allows

  • Can be turned into conferences for a bigger audience

  • Use real life examples and case studies

  • Come with concrete tools and vetted resources

  • "Your session was one of the few times I have seen the SDGs explained in a way that felt both practical and grounded, rather than just a list of goals on a slide. Since then, I have been thinking about whether, and how, my own venture might have an authentic connection to the SDGs."

  • "Everything was understood and well explained."

    —Rachel Ogedi-Uzokwe, startup founder

  • "No specific highlight. I loved everything! Planification seems way more intuitive now."
